Pros: The sound produced is decent and louder than the SHP1900.

Cons: The headband is designed to be stretchable so it will definitely clamps on your head. Five minutes of using and I have to stop. The ear-cups are small and only further the discomfort and pain when in use.

Overall Review: If it's not for the restocking fee, I'd have sent this one back for refund. I can only hope to gift it to someone so it wouldn't be a waste.

Overall Review: I purchased these to use primarily as reference headphones for live sound. Their frequency response and clarity are great, and their ambient sound isolation (not cancelation) is great! Other reviews mention that the jack is acting up. I agree that the strain relief at the jack could be better. I'm not too worried though, I'm pretty good with a soldering iron if I need to replace the jack, and it's not the end of the world to replace them (because of their price)... I've used them for a week so we'll see over time, but I expect it to be ok. Other reviews also mention that they are uncomfortable and push glasses into the skull. I wouldn't have noticed/mentioned this (or thought of it as a design flaw) had I not read the reviews first... I agree, their round design and tight fit does push my glasses into my skull. Could take some getting used to for long periods of wear, but I'd get there... As reference headphones, like I'm using them, it's not a problem and I could probably get used to it over time... Lastly, other reviews mention that they don't stay "fit" after you take them off... It's true, but they "re-fit" so easily and quickly it doesn't matter to me. They stay in place beautifully once on, and that's what counts for me.

Pros: Sound quality is excellent considering the price. I have several pairs of "reference quality" headphones and these can hold their own. I think that reviews must consider price, and at this price point they far exceed audio and build quality of most comparable products. They can be folded and are DJ headphones which allows use for one-ear mixing, etc. Good build quality. The partially coiled cord is a nice feature to be short or long as needed. Gold-placed plug. Decent sound isolation (a benefit of the clamping pressure and ear pads).

Cons: Yes, comfort is weak point. Some say that it's like putting your head in a vise and to a degree that's true particularly if you have a large head! But you can actually bend the headband back on itself without damage, if done carefully, to reduce clamping pressure. Some have replaced the vinyl ear pads with cloth to further improve comfort.

Overall Review: I recommend due to the high sound quality / price ratio, features and build quality.

Cons: These are NOT over-the-ear with the stock ear pads, they are on-ear. Stock ear pads are very uncomfortable. I could only wear them for 15-20 minutes at a time before I couldn't stand it anymore. There is a fix for this, however. Read on...

Overall Review: I bought a set of Brainwavz HM5 pleather ear pads and put them on, making these truly over-the-ear headphones. AMAZING DIFFERENCE! The head phones went from being unwearable after 20 minutes to being so comfortable I can wear them for hours and forget they're on my head. The HM5 pads also improved the sound quite a bit. They cost $20 making these headphones a total of $30-$35, but at that price these are still a steal for how good the sound is. I also own the highly touted SHP9500 and I find myself using these more. For the people who give these bad reviews due to the discomfort, do yourselves a favor and get a set of Brainwavz HM5 pads and you'll be amazed at the difference. My only experience is with the pleather versions though, so I don't know how the velour versions would affect the sound. Beyerdynamic ear pads also fit on these headphones, but cost $10-$15 more and only come in velour if I remember correctly.

Pros: Great sound for your price (purchased for under $15, would not pay more than $20). I've had many pairs of cans over the years from Siberia V2, Turtle beaches, Trittons, Harmon Kardon, S Republic, and many different pairs of ATH (m20x, 40x, 50x). These hold up well against top-tier brands, especially at the sale price I've seen them for multiple times. Had these at a time when I owned a pair of m40x and these got more use with zero complaining.

Cons: Not comfortable at all. If you're an on ear fan these might be for you (I can't say, more of an over ear closed back fan), but they do run small, which is why I took a star. People will tell you to get a separate pair of over ear pads cause they are big enough for it, but at that point you might as well just buy yourself a pair of m20x (which these measure up against competitively). What I did was take the pads off an older broken pair of Turtle beach x12's and place them on the drives. They will clamp on quite comfortably and keep the headphones in place, though movement is limited somewhat (not really, but I won't say they haven't slid off). For sitting and gaming and listening to music this method is fine, just don't try working out or running with actual proper sized pads. The ones mentioned fit fine, but do not form a proper seal.

Overall Review: Original pair broke on me somehow. Jack somehow got bent (still plays but sound cuts in and out at the slightest movement). Won't say it was the hardware (was probably me accidentally). That said, this is a sturdy pair of headphones and one of my favorites I had for a time. A real solid knock around pair of headphones. When my original pair went down I did not feel like I lost out at all. Definitely got my money's worth.

Pros: Bass is there! Clarity at higher volume and survives​ for more listening! I'm loving mine! Especially with the price!

Cons: No L plug,jeez!
