Pros: It came factory overclocked for the same price as a non-overclocked version. The card puts up decent fps numbers in Crysis.

Cons: This card makes a LOT of noise, even if you "silence" it. First off the "upgraded" cooler this card comes with is ok at cooling the card but it is VERY noisy and is constantly spinning up/down even at idle. Every few seconds the fan bursts to maximum speed. You can fix this by hacking the BIOS and forcing the fan to run slower. But you have to undo the hack before playing a game or else the fan can't cool the card well enough. However if you install a much quieter after market heatsink/fan (like the Accelero X1) you're in for a nasty surprise. The card makes a very high pitched buzz or whine or squeal or whatever you want to call it. Through lots of configurations and testing I've isolated the noise to this card an nothing else in my system. YUCK! I just built a new system with low noise and decent performance being the goal. The noise this card makes cuts through everything. Unfortunately I'm going to have to get a different card as this one isn't quiet enough :(

Overall Review: Not newegg's fault, they rock as always :) If you want a quiet system buy a different card. My previous computer had a Powercolor x1550 and while its tiny fan wasn't quiet it made a "normal" amount of noise for its size.

Pros: 4870 good value, good GPU cooling

Cons: my first card burned out after about 2 months. Replacement lasted about 3 months. The ZeroTherm GPU cooler does an excellent job of cooling the GPU, but not the Voltage regulators. Either the air flow, or the heat sinks are inadequate. Either way, the card self destructs on a consistent basis.

Overall Review: FYI, I had no reason to overclock. My case is a coolmaster 830. room temp. is 65 F. My old 1900 GT fired up as a replacement. Conclusion, there is no reason this card should fail other than its defective design. I have asked Power Color to send an alternate model in replacement. I will let you know their response.

Pros: Great Value price for performance.

Cons: The fan is louder then my cpu fan (Therematake V1)

Overall Review: If you care about noise levels don't bother pay more but if you are about performance then this is a great buy.

Pros: It was, very fast, for the first month.

Cons: On it's way to the grave yard already.

Overall Review: Be careful with Powercolor, been reading a lot about them dieing. Maybe Powercolor is having issues they dont want to admit...

Pros: ran great for about 4 weeks

Cons: Failed to boot one day. LED showed core failure. Never overclocked. Run in a STACKER 830, very well cooled case.

Overall Review: No warranty? LOOKS LIKE A COMPLETE LOSS

Pros: Boy o boy. The day ati came back again. This card ripped open css and oblivion so easily, full settings, on my 22inch lcd. Im going to play crysis and its expansion, at max settings, because now i can :) The fan is the best one out of all the 4870s currently. Works automatically, and is a ZEROtherm videocard heatsink, runs very well. Highly recommend this, do not waste your hard earned money buying anything else higher unless you run 4 monitors at max resolution. Seriously.

Cons: Did not come with a clone to go to work for me...???

Overall Review: This card is big, not a con since all video cards are now big. But it fit in my xclio windtunnel with about a quarter of a foot to spare (alot of room).

Pros: This card surprised me. I got it because my uncle got one of the higher end 3800 cards and it was rockin my geforce 8600 so i deceided heck, why not go ati once. Absolutely incredible. I haven't seen the temp go above 64 degrees C. This game runs Team Fortress 2 with every single option maxed out, COD4 maxed out, RA3 Beta maxed out, and ARCA Sim Racing (these are all i have tested this card with so far). This card seems to be the best bang for the buck!

Cons: The heat sink seems to be a little cheap. It does perform well but its plastic and feels chinsy.

Overall Review: Get this card!

Pros: Idles @ 40-41 C @ 12% fan speed in my Antec 1200 case. Load temp with 830/1050 clocks is 51-52 C with fan speed also at 12%. Could probably overclock even more... if I knew how. Very quiet.

Cons: A little bit more expensive than the 4870s with stock coolers, but I don't regret it.

Overall Review: No need to overclock it yet, but it seems like it will overclock well in the future as nicer games come out, and if I learn how.
