All of the price spikes on gpus are related to the cryptocurrencies mining craze. I would recommend setting alerts on nowinstock and checking for some of the higher end models. A buddy picked up a Sapphire nitro special edition for 380 doing that a week ago. If you are patient and wait for the alerts to go off you may save yourself some money or wait for the used cards to flood the market when the newer Nvidia cards come out.

Hello,

Just as a previous customer mentioned, the switch is to switch between GPU BIOSes if the specific card you are referring to has more than 1 BIOS profile installed.  one profile is usually a default settings BIOS while the other one is optimized for gaming or overclocked performance. This card requires a motherboard with a PCIe-x16 slot, which has been standard in most motherboards for the past 8 or more years. If it doesn't fit, the retention latch may be blocking you or you don't have the proper clearances in your case or around your CPU cooler (unlikely). So barring a really old motherboard, it should fit fine.

Recently bought this card and I cannot get displayport connections to work no matter what I do. DVI-D works, HDMI works, but displayport fails to show up. I've tried two different cables (both with good reviews for freesync monitors) and all the displayport ports to no avail. My monitor is AOC G240PQU, and I have no other displayport monitors to test to see if the monitor is the problem. I suspect it isn't because the other connections work, but you never know.

Online I read that power options might be the issue, so I set windows 10 power settings to high performance, with no luck. I have the latest drivers installed (17.11.4) and I can't seem to get power options, or any "radeon additional settings" at all . Is there a certain driver version I should roll back to to get those options, or is the card defective? Asking here because I sent a problem report to AMD and haven't heard back.
