This review is from: CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply
Pros: Can be mounted vertically or upside down, using in a NXZT Gamma case.
Cons: Runs hotter to the touch than I would like - especially as there's no discrete video card installed/one 300gb velociraptor/one DVDRW/five 120mm case fans running simultaneously, but that is Channelwell Technologies' style
Other Thoughts: This is powering 3870k, Biostar TA75A+, GSKILL DDR3 1600 for an away-from-home GTA IV/EFLC machineREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have been using this processor with Biostar TA75A+ (bundle deal). playing GTA IV/EFLC with medium/low graphic settings with memrestrict commandlines
Cons: Hard (for me) to figure out how to overclock this chip and get real world results/benefits. Cheap noisy heatsink, so am using Thermaltake V1
Other Thoughts: $300 for motherboard, processor, and ram, worth it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BIOSTAR TA75A+ FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Using this board with 3870K to play GTA IV/EFLC without a discrete graphics card installed
Cons: No real concrete info out there on what socket FM2 is going to perform better or not
Other Thoughts: I spent about $300 on motherboard, processor, ram. Worth it, but note living in a hot or humid area will decrease computer performance severelyREAD FULL REVIEW
