This review is from: NETGEAR R8000-100NAS Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Gigabit Wireless Router
Pros: You read this review and purchased something better like one with pfsense.
Cons: Works nearly the same as any other $39 router, except this one has some extra features for printing and file sharing... ooh, and it costs $239.
Although the specs are great, this product fails to deliver. Total throughput is limited to ab 65mb regardless of how fast your internet is. As a dual-core router, I rate this as a fail. Gigabit fiber? You're only getting 65mb even over cat-6.
Wifi: Speed is fantastic. Local file sharing will peak around 400mb on my laptop; likely faster on AC. Range is average at best... about 40ft on N in my house. I would not use this in a big space alone.
Other Thoughts: Netgear, you can do better.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's a major upgrade over standard mechanical desktop drives. Quieter, less power, less heat, and faster data transfer. As good as it gets for mechanical SATA.
Other Thoughts: Very impressed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Replaced Patriot memory with this product and it's noticeably faster.
Cons: None so far
