Pros: I bought WD blue because I wanted a little better performance over the green.
I bought 1 on 9-2 , and when I got that one, it had the 'click of death' right out of the box - couldn't even partition. Because I didn't try this drive until the 30 day timeframe was gone, I was forced to return this to the mfg, at my expense.
2nd one was ordered 10-24. I bought this as a standby for systems I had coming up to build, but figured I better test it right away. This one the system recognized, but as soon as I tried to partition it, the system hung, and never did complete the partition.
Running WD diags failed the drive with too many errors. RMA'd back to Newegg this time.
Cons: Usually WD drives are pretty dependable - but 2 straight orders in a row have me concerned.
Whether it's just the blue drives, or the batch - I don't know - but now I'm going to have to test every WD I order right away.
Other Thoughts: I ordered a 1TB toshiba drive in between these 2 orders, which worked beautifully.
I also ordered a 1TB WD black not long before, which also is working just fine.
30+ yrs in the business, 1st time getting 2 DOAs in a row. Here's hoping the replacement for the 2nd works.
Pros: Slick little card - PCIe-1x. Comes with with full and half height brackets, and multiple drivers on disk.
Didn't need the driver disk with W8.1 core or Pro - they both recognized right out of the box. Very good xfer speeds in the 130MBs range consistantly.
For a very cheap price this is an egg salad card.
Cons: None. This time you get more than you pay for.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Dell 1800FP Gray 18.1" LCD Monitor, Off Lease 250 cd/m2 350:1
Pros: Bought as a test monitor, and backup for a system that required a 1024X768 square screen resolution.
Cheap price - with rebate and instant promo - under $50
Cons: Top heavy. Many report getting different base than pictured, or smaller base designed for smaller monitor.
I got correct base, as pictured - but this is not a lite weight monitor - be sure to have solid location to set it on
Other Thoughts: As a primary monitor, buy a little better wide screen model these days.
As a cheap spare or needing a specific size-resolution - this works - don't spend more than 50 on it though.
