Wintec FileMate Color Mini 2GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Blue) Model 3FMSP01U2BL-2G-R
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Smallish, typical, decent speed, survived the great coffee spill of '13.

Cons: Did not actively work to prevent the coffee spill.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these, and they remain the only flash drives which have kept their caps (which are even clear!). However, I know in due time we will all mourn their loss as they are taken to the flashdrive cap Bermuda Triangle.

SUPERMICRO SYS-7037A-IL Mid-Tower Server Barebone Dual LGA 1356 Intel C602 DDR3 1600/1333/1066/800
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Comes already setup and just waiting for a CPU & Memory. Looks sleek. Doesn't vibrate or make any silly noises. Has a NIC activity light on the front. Comes with the HDD plastic bays which are easy to remove and replace. Comes with 6 SATA cables preattached. PSU is quiet.

Cons: The motherboard is an X9DAL-i, which is one step below the same style which also includes SAS ports.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this barebones case again and again unless I upgraded to a rackmount setup.

Intel BXSTS100A ThermalSolution LGA1366 for 2-Socket Servers/Workstations, active heat sink with fixed fan
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Fits perfectly to the motherboard and LG1356 CPU, and fits in a dual-CPU scenario.

It's relatively quiet, comes with thermal paste already applied, and very easy to install.

Cons: It doesn't make me coffee in the morning.

Other Thoughts: Always check your case space and motherboard heatsink mounting brackets before ordering a heatsink. I purchased these after RMAing the original heatsink/fan I had purchased because it neither would fit the dual-CPU setup nor the already permanently attached mounting bracket.
