excellent
Pros: no problems at all so far. the fan i got seems pretty quiet to me, it's plenty quieter than my hard drive at least.
Cons: if your focus is performance, go with one of the other chips. i'm not a gamer so this chip is more than i need.
Overall Review: asus m2n-e mobo with 2 sticks of 512 mb corsair ddr2 800 ram and an asus nvidia geforce 7300gt pci express card.
Noisy, adjustable, but some adjustments don't lock into place.
Pros: Mesh chair but that's obvious. Easy to assemble. Ergonomic but only if you sit on it correctly. Maybe it's because i'm on a rug but i have no problems with the casters. Your mileage will vary but at 90kg the mesh seat base still feels pretty solid with just enough give in it to be comfortable.
Cons: It's noisy. The seat back makes a noise when putting any kind of pressure on it which i'm guessing is from springs. The seat base can be slid forward-backward but it still has some play when locked so it makes a noise any time i move the chair to get up, sit down, or adjust my position. Even just shifting my weight to one side without touching the seat back to pick something up next to me causes loud spring noises. All these noises are really annoying and i would imagine it would be even more irritating to other people. The armrests are adjustable but you can't lock them in place horizontally (you can lock them vertically only) so i'm often accidently moving them. They would be so much better with a set screw instead of using snapping. A set screw would fix the large amount of play they have too. As it is now they wiggle quite a lot. There are no instructions anywhere on how to adjust the lumbar support and i cannot figure it out. You can clearly turn the knobs on either side but i have no idea what they do. This thing is a dust magnet and really difficult to clean because it doesn't look like pieces are easy to remove for access to the hard-to-reach places behind the seat back. The headrest doesn't lock into place, it's a ratcheting system which prefers to go down instead of up. So putting any pressure on it pushes it down and out of my preferred position. Again, a simple adjustment screw instead of an overly-complicated ratcheting system would fix this.
Overall Review: If your only concern is ergonomics and mesh then this is probably your best bet. However, i find it really noisy and i don't like that the headrest and armrests only snap/ratchet into position instead of using an adjustment screw. In my opinion it's over-engineered to a fault but there's really not a lot of options out there.
Completely solid and gorgeous case that's easy to clean!
Pros: This case is solid but still easy to remove the panels for cleaning. There's absolutely no flex in the case structure when lifting or moving it. The top, sides, and front panels can all be removed after taking out only two thumb screws. This was clearly designed be people who clean their cases. I'm clearly not a wire-management pro but you can easily hide most cables and wires because of the hidden back compartment. There's also plenty of room back there for your old non-NVME drives, including mechanical ones. If you are still using internal optical drives i was able to squeeze one in the back opening where the HDD tray is but only just. It was a very tight fit that touches the top and bottom of the opening. It's not ideal but may be a possibility if you really need it. I instead opted for an external USB optical drive and got rid of the internal one since i need it for my laptop anyway.
Cons: Heavy, but let's be honest, how often do you really need to move your case? If i'm being nitpicky, the top panel could use a little bit more clearance for the top-mount radiator screws. Those screws are fighting a bit with the magnetic filter. I also hate the blue light around the power button because i don't like blue, so i unplugged that. Keep in mind that this case trades optimal airflow efficiency for aesthethtics to have those nice large front and side windows. This is not a problem for me though but something you may need to consider.
Overall Review: It's a high-quality durable case that looks really good and can accommodate your older components if needed. The best part is how easy it is to clean.
Noisy Buttons, underwhelming for a "special edition"
Pros: USB-C, pairing to multiple devices, works on Linux (even via Bluetooth).
Cons: Noisy buttons. All the buttons make a loud snapping noise when pressed, including the D-pad. Only the triggers and thumbsticks are quiet. It's louder than my mechanical keyboard which is pretty annoying and hard to ignore, especially for other people.
Overall Review: I only play on PC (Linux) and i bought this to replace my aging Dualshock 3. I'm giving it 3/5 (average) because for a special anniversary edition, there's nothing special about it except the transparent case and i was very disappointed with how noisy the buttons are. I don't know if that's standard for Xbox because i don't own one, but it wasn't what i expected. As a side note (didn't affect my rating), why are these still using disposable batteries in 2022? It should come with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery like any other modern device, and not charge extra for it. That blows my mind.
Pros: Simple and cheap. Look at the pictures of the Rosewill RX-C200P and the Bytecc Bracket-35225. They're all the same product just different brand names. Get the cheapest one. The only reason why the Rosewill is rated the highest is because of the people who chose that brand and their expectations (lower regular price = lower expectations).
Cons: The only cons are the bad reviewers. Read the description, it says it's made of plastic. Don't put plastic as a con when you knew that before you bought it. Everyone apparently has the highest tech level but they buy a cheap product and complain about it being cheap.
Overall Review: Read the "bad reviews" before you buy. Most of them are complaining about things that they didn't bother to check before they purchased it. I have a standard case and drives with standard mounting holes. Everything fit perfectly, i didn't have to modify anything. Even if you have something oddball, it's made of plastic so it's not difficult to drill new holes or make them bigger if you need to (this should not be a con for a cheap plastic bracket). You have to mount this in a drive bay with screws from the sides only. If your case has a location to bottom-mount a drive, this won't work there. Look at the pictures before you buy. Look at the position of the drives in this bracket, they WILL be close together. Take your cables into consideration (fat connectors or 90° bend connectors).
Pros: Vivid colors, adjustable heavy duty stand, simple cabinet styling with buttons that are easy to access, wide viewing angle.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: Makes my other monitor (HP 2311x) look horrible! :)
