This review is from: Nikon D800 (25480) Black 36.3 MP Digital SLR Camera - Body Only
Pros: Build Quality, Image Quality, Uncompressed HDMI-out video, dual card slots, battery life, Accurate focus tracking, wide range of customization options, no shallow DOF loss due to FX sensor.
Cons: both of the dual card slots could be SD even though CF has higher potential throughput (not many CF cards have higher throughput than SD currently and CF is alot more expensive), slower burst rate than competing models (although the product is not positioned towards sports photographers), heavy, huge images (slow to upload onto traditional HDD RAID array despite CF card having 120 MB/s read), need expensive flash memory to take full advantage of features, only one Fn button, built in flash feels a bit flimsy for a professional model.
Other Thoughts: bought this during a sale for about 2250 which was a steal for this new model (upgrade from old D200 DX model). Had some older high quality FX lenses which work great with this camera (28-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm VR, 50mm 1.4D). I would carry it wherever I go but with the 28-70mm, its weighs about 5 LBs.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Quick print from sleep mode, 23 PPM, high quality, starter toner included, high quality for price. Scan, copies, faxes (dinosaur tech).
Cons: USB and network cable not included but a RJ45 included (?!?!?).
Other Thoughts: Not much else to say other than it seems Canon > HP Laser printers for the price.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Swiftech Quiet Power MCR220-QP Liquid Cooler Radiator
Pros: I bought this to supplement my Thermaltake Bigwater system to cool an overclocked AMD Phenom II, 955. CPU Voltage at 1.535. Brought down my temps by an average of 10 degrees celsius. Installation was not so easy on a coolermaster ATC 840 full tower case. Have to mount it on the top 240 mm fans with the adapter included with the case... need longer fan screws to do this.
Cons: did not come with barbs. however, I got Enzotech 1/4" thread - 3.8" barb and used the extra clips to fasten the tubes onto the radiator. Works very well
Other Thoughts: Does its job without looking too flashy. Thinking about getting a Switftech chipset block from swiftech to cool northbridge on an Asus Crosshair IV formula board. IREAD FULL REVIEW
