SILVERSTONE Sugo Series SST-SG08B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case 600W 80+ Bronze Certified / Single +12V rail Power Supply

Pros: This computer is by far my favorite i have ever done. i kept building machines so that i could "upgrade them later" and by the time i decided it needed an upgrade, it was not worth the effort. so i built this one to be as full as it could be, and man did it turn out great. when i turned it on the first time, i thought i had done something wrong, because it was so quiet. i had to turn off my other computer just to hear this one. The power supply runs quietly, and does not generate much heat, and the large fan on top is whisper quiet. I inverted the fan to make an updraft case, and used a stock heat sink for my processor. so far everything is great.

Cons: obviously the space is limited, so do your research before you buy components. If you invert the top fan to make it an updraft case, then you no longer have any dust filters, but its not much work to pop the case and hit it with a little compressed air every so often. My biggest complaint would be the space between the back of the video card, and the power supply. there is a non-conductive sheet affixed to the back of the PSU to keep the GPU pins from shorting out, but it doesn't cover the whole section. I remedied that with a piece of electrical tape and haven't had any issues.

Overall Review: This is a great case, and if you want to build a consertative machine, the price will not be outragous. If you want a performance machine the Mini ITX compliant components get pretty pricey. Pros: far more quiet than i had expected. put this in a build that was made to run silent, and was blown away. Graphics are good. i haven't noticed any issues related to my GPU, but i don't overclock my machines. The stock cooler on it seems to be more than enough for my purposes.

Cons: none so far.

Overall Review: my case has an intake directly in front of both fans, so it is pretty much the optimal setup. It may not function as well inside a full or mid sized tower.
