5 out of 5 eggs yes, it is worth the money. 12/04/2008

This review is from: Rosewill RC-400-LX - Network Adapter 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45

Pros: Good price, and it does what it says. Simple fast data.

Cons: None that I could find. It is a network switch, not a motherboard. It works, thus it is good.

Other Thoughts: I just ran out of port on my router, and need more. This gave me more ports, and greater speed. I moved my ext. HD to my media center, and can back up faster than my raid 0 drives can handle.

Pros: Price to performance ratio, low profile (for when it is demoted to my MCPC).

Cons: None as of yet... Well, it is a low cost card. Thus, it is not the highest quality card out there.

Other Thoughts: Replaced 2 SLi 6600GTs. The performance increase is worth the money.

Acer Laptop Aspire AS5672WLMi-XPH Intel Core Duo T2300 (1.66 GHz) 1 GB Memory 100 GB HDD ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 15.4
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Duo core, nice screen, nice vid card. Plays WOW as well as my desktop with a 64, and a 6600gt.

Cons: Wish it had Nvidia chip for linux, but most laptops have ATI. The glossy screen is nice most of the time, but the glare can be a bugger on a bright day.

Other Thoughts: Get a cool pad... the vent intakes or on the bottom, and output to the side. So the cool pad works well. Due to better ventilation the system fans work less with it on. If you have the pad, the thing never gets hot... even with games.
