ASUS VX238H-W White 23
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: It's funny how ASUS replied to my VX238H-W review. They so nice here replying and giving out their contact details for resolving issues. But when you contact them by email - they just reply that they don't do any refunds or exchanges for their bad quality monitors with a dead pixel. And their ASUS Rapid Replacement for 3 years policy is just a joke.

Avoid asus by any means.

Cons: -ASUS has bad quality and this moitor proves it.
-ASUS products support is worst.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy ASUS products again.

ASUS VX238H-W White 23
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Nice white monitor design, cool automatic HDMI input select.

Cons: Just found new dead pixel today, just after about 1 week of little usage..

Other Thoughts: ASUS product quality always was a big concern in recent years. Hopefully they can ship replacement soon( unfortunate to trash the original box already((

MSI Radeon HD 6970 DirectX 11 R6970 Lightning 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: 1) It's nice just when the gpu idle 0-10%.
2) It's a stable card even when temps are 102C.

Cons: It looks like just reviews are good about this card or reviews are just a joke.

This card has about 50-60C idle temps and goes sky high 102C under 99% gpu load with extremely loud fans at these temps. IMHO overclocked 6970 gpu can't stay below 60C at full load and can't be silent. But this card is extra loud and has extra hot temps.

Other Thoughts: No help from MSI support. All they help - redirect to the RMA address.
