This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB AMP! Extreme Core Edition
Pros: Great performance, Amazing value. The look of the card is nice.build with care. I like the fact that the base clock was the highest of all 970 I know about. Since the fans are locked in at 60% you would think it would be a loud card but its not. low noise and amazing temps. I'm coming from team red, I had two 7950 cf, which I loved, it was just time to upgrade. I'm not a fan boy so I'm not down talking no one, I just wanted to change it up I do this from time to time.
I game at 2560x1440, I can play bf4, fc4, and metro:ll with no issue. I don't play games at full ultra settings. I use mix settings from Ultra, med, and no AA and I can play all my games smooth! I will put out a video soon.
I like that I can overclock my monitor refresh rate from 60 to 110mhz without using CRU and atikmdag since it can be done with no problem in Nvidia control panel.
Cons: The coil whine sound can be heard like alot of others have be stating. You hear it, but its not a deal breaker unless you are going for a silent setup.
