Pros: Card performs as it should.
Very good performance/price ratio.
You will not get a better card at that price.
Lifetime Warranty from Visiontek.
Cons: None as of now.
Other Thoughts: This card was released in 2008 but it still performs pretty good on today's game. But do not expect to run it high settings on max resolutions.
I run it at 1440x900 and I can do high settings on almost all games.
Just to give you an idea here's some games:
-Heroes of Newerth max settings max AA
-Mass effect max settings max AA
-Civilization max settings (runs considerably smooth, just loading between turns might seem abit stuttery)
-Napoleon Total War high settings no AA (stutters at times, but that might be a CPU bottleneck as some are telling me)
My recommendation: If you can not spend more than 100$, buy this card.. otherwise save up some money and buy a 5770 (150$) or even a 6850 (190~200$) / 6870 (250$)
The 68xx cards just got released, so expect some price drops on the 5xxx cards in the next weeks or so.. at least I think it should :)
This review is from: Rosewill R223-P-BK 120mm Fan ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: For it's price, material quality is pretty amazing. Looks good and solid.
Fan is not too loud.
Lots of room.
Cons: I don't know if it depends on the motherboard, but the HD Audio connector doesn't reach the header on the mobo so I had to make use of AC97' instead (apparently not so much different anyway).
Also, the fan has to be unmounted to be able to connect the 8-pin power connector (in my case anyway).
Another issue was the mount for DVD drive was way too tight and I really had to shove the drive in to be able to mount it properly which damaged the plastic edges of the drive (doesn't matter much since you don't see them..but still very troublesome to install).
NO MANUAL! Not even online!
Other Thoughts: Motherboard: ASRock M3A770DE
DVD Drive: LITE-ON CD/DVD Burner - Bulk Black SATA Model iHAS124-04
Hope this helps!
Pros: Easiest hard drive installation I've ever had to make. Plug in SATA data cable, SATA power cable and your drive's ready to go!
Cons: No cons so farREAD FULL REVIEW
