This review is from: LG Electronics 43UH6100 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2016 Model)
Pros: Bright, sharp, good color, light weight, simple set up.
Does what I needed it to do: replace a dual-monitor setup without sacrificing screen real estate.
Cons: Wish it was a little less reflective - reflections are obvious and a little distracting.
Would be nice if it could be set up to shut down when its source (my computer) shuts down.
Many of these units are much thinner now, although I didn't find any other 40+" 4K monitors for <$500 that were thinner.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this to use as a 4K monitor to replace my dual-monitor setup - you can't beat the price for a "4K monitor." It is a shame they don't sell the monitor without the tuner and all the "smart" nonsense, which are of no value in my setup. Less than $500 for a 4K TV; think how cheap it could be as "just" a monitor!
Pixel size seems about the same as that on my old Dell 32" 2560x1600 monitor, so text is reasonable to read without magnification (my eyes are about 3 feet from the screen when I'm at my keyboard).
Caveat: Only 4K inputs are HDMI - no Displayport or DVI inputs - so you need a video card with an HDMI 2.0 port and the ability to drive 4K at 60 Hz.
My system: MSI Nightblade MI2 (Intel i7-6700K Quad Core, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD + 2 x 4TB SSHD, GTX 1080 8GB, Windows 10)
This review is from: Klipsch WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit
Pros: Plugged it in, turned it on and it worked just fine the first time..
Other Thoughts: Connected to a Harman/Kardon AVR2650 7.1 Channel A/V Receiver and Klipsch Reference SW-110 Sub. The sub is behind the couch and I didn't want to run the cable under the floor. This was the perfect solution.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Klipsch - Quintet V 5.0-Channel Home Theater System - Black
Pros: Great sound, Compact system
Other Thoughts: Nice compliment to the Klipsch Reference SW110 Sub on a Harman/Kardon AVR2650 7.1 Channel A/V Receiver.
Small and unobtrusive. With only a minor bit of re-engineering to the stands, was able to use the 4 small stands I originally had a set of Bose mini speakers on.
