This review is from: Brother HL-2240D Monochrome Laser Printer
Pros: Easy wireless setup w/USB cable, no paper jams even when duplexing, prints crisp & clear text with both Windows 7 (64-bit) & Linux (64-bit & 32-bit).
This printer works as advertised and setup is easy.
Other Thoughts: Like others have mentioned here in their reviews, "It just works."
After using it for over a year, I have not experienced any power usage problems, flickering lights, or noticed it being excessively noisy. I question the "Tech Knowledge" of some of the other reviewers. Unpacking the printer required more time than the wireless setup. Downloading the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website made setup fast & simple.
Pros: Built-in audio, adjustable stand, very bright when they are new.
Cons: Not worth the extra money. Poor quality speakers (even worse than I expected - not quite the "rich quality sound" or "full, bright sound experience" they are marketed to have.
Other Thoughts: I have three of these, two purchased 1 yr ago and a third purchased less than 1 month ago. All three of them look very different in terms of brightness/contrast/color and they cannot be adjusted to compensate. Considering the image and sound quality that I am experiencing, less expensive monitors should perform equally well.READ FULL REVIEW
