GIGABYTE GA-Z77MX-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: EFI was easy to use with no glitches. Able to set up RAM timings with no issues. No problems with the layout in my case.

Its been a smooth experience. Using latest BIOS and Drivers.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I pick this mATX board due to the great reviews on it and its doing very well. I will keep this board on the top of my list if I need to get another.

EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti DirectX 12 (feature level 11_0) 01G-P4-3650-KR 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Small card and uses less power with the same performance as a 560. Overclocks decently and will play AC3 on high settings at 1920x1080 resolution.

Cons: Not really EVGA's fault, but raw 768 CUDA core performance with only 128-bit memory? Should be 192-bit.

Other Thoughts: I really can't complain, the card has a lot of power in such a small form. I recommend it to any budget gamer.

4th EVGA video card this year. All 4 have been Great.

Intel Core i3-3220 Ivy Bridge Dual-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 1155 55W BX80637i33220 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Great processor for most users and does a good job at gaming.

Cons: Heatsink

Other Thoughts: I usually buy aftermarket coolers for my builds, but this time I was on a budget and decided to use the stock heatsink and fan. The stock heatsink and fan is adequate enough, but I feel the sock push-twist mounting is a shaky deal. Double check when mounting to make sure the locks are in all the way and twisted in the right direction.
