Seagate BarraCuda ST315005N4A1AS-RK 1.5TB 5900 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5

Pros: This drive was bought 4/4/2010, and last night it finally came to it's unfortunate end. It served a life as a usb backup storage drive, and it did it's job with all it's might. Running much more often than I intended to run it simply due to forgetting to shut it off. But it didn't complain or cause problems and did it's job.

Cons: Then came the fateful day, a creature of pure evil and malevolence came along, it's name, Pockets, a particularly cruel creature with an affection for warm places and causing chaos. Deciding to take the place of a simple hard working drive, so it could take a nap, it shoved the poor thing off a desk sized cliff, where it met it's end. While it wasn't the fastest drive, it was working over usb, so it was faster than the usb connection, however if it were up to par for internal work, poor SEEGATE *his name* would probably still be with us today.

Other Thoughts: If you want a steady dependable drive for backup or simple office use, this drive should suit your needs. Just don't let it go base jumping and try to keep it safe from creatures of darkness.

SEEGATE, how I will miss you.

Logitech MX Revolution Black 7 Buttons 2 x Wheels RF Wireless Laser Mouse

Pros: I find this mouse very comfortable, and great for playing mmos. I program the buttons for generally unpressed keys, and if a game doesn't detect my mousebutton 4 (autorun) or it is very touchy about working, I just reprogram it to something else and have that set as autorun. Throughout the years it has fallen more than it's fair share of times, yet still works properly.

Cons: Basic issues such as cat hair or dust will cause it to not tell how I'm moving it properly once in a while, but I just blow in it or use a q-tip (works amazingly well for future reference) to fix it. The mousewheel left and right tend to not want to work in programs (shift k and l I believe as reprogrammed). If I remember correctly usually one will work but not the other (right I believe works). Finally it has recently gotten kind of touchy, though I have noticed that on other computers as well so it may be me, but I tend to get some random double clicks when I want to single click, or click+hold releases too early. Slightly annoying but nothing severe, games are pretty much unaffected, whereas file organizing has gotten to be a bit bothersome at times. But 4 years of use, and it just starting to show some problems, I can't really complain. (and tons of falls... d#$n cat)

Other Thoughts: I have become addicted to the freespinning wheel, which seems to be a logiitech only feature, so I will pretty much be stuck only buying logitech mice from now on.
