Very Satisfied
Pros: Runs cool and quiet. No coil whine. Performs as expected.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Runs 32C at idle. When pressed playing 7 Days to Die (which I understand is poorly optimized) my fan curve keeps it at 62C with 60% fan. Fans are then audible when not wearing earphones, but not excessively noisy. But my big tower case is "under-fanned" so I will probably add a couple quiet 120 mm fans. That should reduce the speed of the 1080 fans. The $499 price really sold me. 50 bucks cheaper than I paid for the GTX 680 it replaced. I was pretty happy with the 680, but it couldn't run ultra settings on newer games. I gambled that prices wouldn't drop any time soon. We'll see. I bought one for my son too. He doesn't do reviews, but said his experience mirrors mine. 12/26/2017 - MINOR UPDATE After adjusting fan curve, runs at 27C idle. Fans at 570 RPM. Can't even hear them.
Unusable For Me
Pros: None for me.
Cons: Cord is way to short to reach the back of my desktop. Might work for laptops.
Great Monitor - Once You Get Used to It
Pros: Everything works just fine. Split screen is very handy.
Cons: Thought I made a mistake in buying it at first. Vertically narrower than the 27" normal aspect monitor it replaced. But I very quickly got used to it.
Overall Review: I recommend it for anyone who wants 16:5 aspect.
Easy Peasy - and Sturdy
Pros: Very sturdy, easy to put together. Wife used them for potted plants.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I recommend them.
Excellent MB
Pros: Read that elsewhere.
Cons: None for me.
Overall Review: Over a year - not a glitch.
Excellent PS
Pros: Very quiet, steady power
Cons: None
Overall Review: Recommended
