Awesome, good upgrade

Pros: Within 10% of i7 in most games. Also best purchase for the price if looking to skip the sandybridge/i7 architecture. Went from e8400 @ 3.84 to this @ 4GHz and it does indeed feel faster in games. In Windows etc it feels about the same until obvious multi-tasking things happen, or video encoding etc. 12 MB of cache is a HUGE improvement.
Cons: The price of this chip, even though cheaper than building an i7 is still insane. This thing at the highest should be sub 300 easy.
Overall Review: If you don't want to spend 600-1000 upgrading to i7 this is the best way to go, or the 9550, to extend the life of your machine for 2+ years. Great buy!
Too bad...

Pros: DD-WRT, FAST, Good Range. Reliable when it worked - 2 stars.
Cons: Died, bought 10/10 died 6/12. I've got Linksys routers that are 12 years old and are still going. It didn't really show any signs just randomly two days ago started dropping net connection randomly. Now takes more than 5 minutes to start up when you do a power reset.
Overall Review: There are better DD-WRT routers out there or ones that support it. For the price this may be worth the chance, but this will be the last Buffalo I ever buy.
Stay away from this board

Pros: It's not black and red. Has all the connection you would want and a nice looking UEFI.
Cons: First one died - 00 error - about 2 months into ownership. No overclocking, no tweaking no nothing. Suddenly one day would not wake up from sleep. They quickly RMA'd the board for me and I had another one within a few days. The RMA is now dead after 3 weeks in my system. Will not even power on. I took a chance going away from Asus and Gigabyte this time on my newest build and I quickly am regretting it.
Overall Review: I will send off for the RMA on this board as well - however I'm not wasting anymore time with this board or this brand. I will put something in my machine that will last more than a couple week/months. I need something that's rock solid and stable. Hard to work from home when my machine won't even boot.......
Dissappointed

Pros: When it works it's fast and fun to use.
Cons: Screen has become unresponsive. It's outside of neweggs' return window. I didn't buy this one from Google play which means they won't touch it. And I can't seem to get Asus to do anything about it. Last time I'm purchasing anything like this from Google, Newegg, or Asus.
Overall Review: My first one was perfect till I dropped and broke the screen. I knew I should have bought this from the play store and not from Newegg.
Please research before buying

Pros: Long cable if you need it.
Cons: Too long for most people that don't know any better.
Overall Review: Please research people. There are two reviews here that obviously didn't know ANY USB cable over 16ft needs to be powered for devices to work properly. By the time you add in your device which has a 4-8 ft cable you will be over the length USB can power reliably. So research before giving a bad review.
Powerful

Pros: Very good range, best of any router I've used from Buffalo and Linksys. Easy setup, intuitive interface, and it just works.
Cons: Mainly a personal thing, but tired of everything coming with blue LEDs. Would be nice to have an option to dim or turn them off all together. Does get a lot warmer than previous routers but doesn't appear to be an issue.
Overall Review: For the price I think this thing is top of the heap as far as I'm concerned. Yes the cheesy name and appearance are not indicative of performance. ;-)
