TP-LINK TL-SF1005D 10/100Mbps 5-Port Unmanaged Desktop Switch, Power-Saving
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: This item works. For those persnickety individuals that need multiple devices on a hard coded wall plate, this is the answer. We plugged it in & every thing connected without an issue. No set up required. We're running 2 laptops & a WAP off of this switch without an issue. Buying a 2nd one tonight for another wall plate.

Cons: No ethernet cable

Other Thoughts: Depending on what you have connected to the wall outlet you may want to have a power strip with you. Plug the ethernet cable from the wall plate to port 5 of the switch & then plug everything else into 1-4.

Acer X193Wb Black 19

4 out of 5 eggs Great 4 the price 03/20/2009

This review is from: Acer X193Wb Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 2000:1 ACM

Pros: 19" Widescreen with a very good picture. Nice platform stand and very light in weight.

Cons: None for the price

Other Thoughts: These are more observations rather than complaints / cons: The monitor looks like it has an under bite with bad teeth. The bottom juts out and the buttons are large and clumsy. Pushing the Power Button to turn the monitor on lifts the whole monitor out of position due to it's light weight and archaic buttons. The power light is obscenely large and distracts from the view in a light challenged room. There are no built in speakers and no DVI Port, which we knew when we purchased the unit (like I said not cons, just observations). No granulated settings just the typical Acer category settings which get the job done for the average user. Overall a quality product for the price. With that being said we will purchase a ViewSonic or Samsung the next time.
