Black 1 x Wheel USB Wireless Laser Trackball Mouse Wireless Finger Mice For Laptops and Desktops
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: cool design, lazer works, instantly connects to laptop

Cons: Trackball moves so easily as to make it unusable - especially when clicking. The entire thing feels flimsy. Doesn't fit comfortably in the hand so that buttons and trackball are easily reached.

Other Thoughts: I figured this would be a nice addition to a Chromebook. Not so. The trackball moves so easily that I found the cursor flying all over the screen. Squeezing the trigger to "click" causes the trackball to move - making clicking on intended targets next to impossible. I soon found this mouse very uncomfortable - nearly impossible to use. I can not think of a use case for this particular trackball mouse because the trackball is so loose. Even using this with a PP presentation would be impossible because you'd be working too hard to control where the cursor goes on screen when you click or turn on the laser pointer. Don't buy this!!!

Lenovo N22 (80SF0001US) Chromebook Intel Celeron N3050 (1.60 GHz) 4 GB Memory 16 GB eMMC 11.6

4 out of 5 eggs Surprisingly snappy - worth the money 12/23/2016

This review is from: Lenovo N22 (80SF0001US) Chromebook Intel Celeron N3050 (1.60 GHz) 4 GB Memory 16 GB eMMC 11.6" Chrome OS

Pros: Snappy operation. Quick cold boot. Long battery life. 100GB of Google Drive (for 2 years). USB3x2. Solid build quality. Decent camera. Carrying strap. Responsive keypad. 4GB memory really makes a difference in performance! Can run Android - though I haven't used it yet.

Cons: 1366x768 screen is adequate, yet VERY narrow view - particularly vertical - contrast is low for my taste. Camera seems cheap in comparison to overall build quality. Proprietary power connector (typical). A bit heavy at almost 3 lbs.

Other Thoughts: I've never owned a Chromebook. Heard lots of good recently, so wanted to take Chrome for a drive and see what it's all about. This laptop went on sale and I jumped. A granddaughter got one last xmas and didn't like it (2GB memory wasn't enough). I was suspicious about how fast a 16GB eMMC drive would run and whether it was enough disk space - so far, so good. I bought a 64GB USB3 key but probably won't need it. As for Chrome, I had to do quite a bit of reading to learn how to navigate in a browser-only world - so there's a learning curve for an old Windows guy like me. So far, I'm enjoying the Chrome experience and this Chromebook. I'd definitely recommend this laptop for casual use - NOT for business or serious school, graphics, gaming, or video work. I use it for writing a blog, reading the news, and watching my favorite podcasts - perfect fit for my purposes.

Pros: Works perfectly with my Comcast ISP at 150+ Mb/s.

Cons: Wow, does it get hot! And it's bright enough to light an auditorium.

Other Thoughts: The bright lights of this modem illuminate my bedroom office - day and night! Irritating! Even with adequate air flow, this thing gets super HOT. I'm surprised it hasn't melted its plastic cover. I've owned it for 11 months and so far so good. Still, I wonder what damage all that heat may be doing. Will my nice new DOCSIS 3.0 modem suddenly die of heat stroke?
