This review is from: Logitech MK520 2.4GHz Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo - Black
Pros: +good size
+doesn't have that extra top row of garbage buttons you never use
Cons: -the rounded keys feel incredible awkward
-mouse too small and feels cheap
Other Thoughts: I couldn't stand the rounded keys and couldn't return the item, so I just gave them away and bought another wireless keyboard and mouse (not bundled).
I wouldn't recommend this keyboard because of the rounded keys. Pretty unfortunate because other than that, the keyboard was almost exactly what I needed. I prefer Logitech's Dinovo keybaord for notebooks, but I believe they're discontinued. Bummer.
This review is from: Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Business for System Builders Single Pack DVD
Pros: uh, looks prettier than XP?
Cons: Wow, where to start? I guarantee you you'll have at least one piece of hardware that will have serious compatibility issues regarding drivers that actually work properly. If you're building a budget system, beware b/c this is a resource hog.
In an attempt to make things easier to navigate through, Microsoft has achieved the exact opposite. It's overly complicated for computer savy people to tweak this OS.
Other Thoughts: Stay away from Vista people. It's really not worth the headache. XP worked fine and still works fine. I'm considering going back to XP.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Minus the Wireless, and NIC card the board works very well. Fast, easy to use, compatible.
Cons: Getting the Audio drivers working with Vista 64 was a bit tricky.
The wireless doesn't work with Vista 64 bit, period. The Marvell NIC card works for a while, but suffers from lag at times, and chooses to stop without warning and the OS needs to reboot to get the connection back up. It happens multiple times a day. Asus support doesn't know how to solve the problem with either network adapters. It's most definitely a driver issue, and no available drivers seem to work properly. I've just decided to buy a separate NIC card that works with 64 bit vista and disable the on board cards...
Other Thoughts: Card is no good with vista 64 bit. However, instead of looking for another card, I'd suggest you just stay as far away from Vista 64 bit as possible.READ FULL REVIEW
