Pros: Got this on sale at a good price. Easy push-pin style mounting, good cooling for HTPC style ATX desktop cases. I fit this in a Silverstone Grandia GD10 which has a 138mm max cooler height .
Had no problems cooling an i5-4690k @ 4.3GHz when under 1.2volts at quiet fan speeds using Prime95 and IBT.
Cons: Fan clips are flimsy, but secure once put on correctly.
One fan is 4-pin PWM, one fan is 3-pin (Would have preferred matching)
Other Thoughts: This is not a heavy-duty cooler! It is ideal for cases that have a tower height limitation of around 140mm. Max TDP is only 130W.
I would not use this to push air OCs heavily. I feel it is good enough to push minor OCs on Socket 1150 Quads using voltages below 1.2v. I would speculate it should be able to handle a stock AMD 8320/8350 , or lightly bumped FX-6300.
Pros: Good quality heatspreaders, fast, dependable, cheap (depending on sales), no issues running 4x sticks, and overclocking headroom. G.skill backs their product
Cons: Requires Manual Tweaking, but to be expected with higher performance memory
Other Thoughts: No problems at all running this on an M5A97 AM3+ Motherboard with FX-6300.
Running 2 sets of this (16GB over 4 slots) at 2050MHz with 9-11-11-31-42 Timings for the past 3 months with no issues. Very pleased I was able to tighten the timings over stock with little to no voltage increase on my system
