This review is from: Microsoft Windows Home Server 2011 64-bit - OEM
Pros: Nice 64-bit upgrade to WHS V1. I do miss drive extender but have found reasonable alternatives that do provide RAID security. Updated look and feel but essential hands-off backups still there and still easy to setup.
Cons: Had a horrid time loading onto my headless EX495. From an internet search, I'm not alone. Why didn't MS foresee the many headless installations with 64-bit machines they wanted to upgrade?
Other Thoughts: Again, the installed base of WHS V1, especially those with headless machines who wanted to update to a 64-bit system, would seem to be a logical market for WHS2011. Although there were several answer file generators available, a script available as a download from MS for a specific server model would have been appropriate.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BELKIN F1DD104L SOHO DVI & USB KVM Switch
Pros: Great concept with DVI, USB and included cables.
Cons: See my previous review. Reliability and support. Went back and forth with Belkin tech support after unit video died. They finally gave up and pushed me up to a supervisor promising a call BEFORE Christmas. Over four months later that supervisor call has never come.
Other Thoughts: Sadly, another company I once relied on very much for their innovative products and their reliability and support, has apparently gone awol. My new router will also be another brand.READ FULL REVIEW
