ASUS USB-N53 Dual Band (2.4GHz 300Mbps/5GHz 300Mbps) Wireless-N USB Adapter, Graphical Easy Interface, Live Signal Monitor
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Fast reliable wireless adapter with good features.
The bandwidth doubled :) the signal is pretty strong. my computer is located upstairs and router downstairs.
Good price

Cons: the driver included is out of date. Don't install the cd go to the manufactures website and install the driver for your operating system my case is windows 8.
device manager/properties/install driver software/blah location

Other Thoughts: the signal strength was low with the provided driver so i suggest you download the driver from asus.
I just installed the driver not the program wizard thingy i have no real need for it

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD8150FRGUBOX Desktop Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: good price to performance ratio
bought it for 189.99
saves money over intel
fast enough that there is no real need to overclock
i use this processor for gaming and it plays everything

Cons: stock cooler is said to not be so great so i got a v8 cooler

Other Thoughts: the highest i seen it go is at 70% cpu usage while playing a game.
intel is a bit faster but i dont see why i should pay an extra 150$ or so for a 10-20% performance increase.
if your careful with what you buy you can get a amd rig for less than a 1000$ while getting this processor

still like intel dont get me wrong
