Pros: Makes a really handy way to use your choice of 3.5" SATA hard drive for backup purposes. Along with ACRONIS this makes a great combination for system images. I use mine to save images of customer's computers, especially during new installs and upgrades. If something goes wrong, it is easy to bring the system back to the point the image was made. Also works fine for just copying files and folders via Windows Explorer. Pretty fast on USB-3.0 or eSATA. DOWNWARD COMPATIBLE WITH USB-2.0
Cons: Actually none that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: I have bought a few of these for friends to use just for backup purposes. Just for backup, I buy the Western Digital BLUE drives.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Biostar CABLEUSB3.0 USB 3.0 Cable Bracket
Pros: This bracket is a great way to get USB 3.0 to your front panel.
Other Thoughts: I have a Cooler Master HAF case. (new) Has eSATA and two USB 2.0 ports on the front pane. I wanted USB 3.0 so this bracket was needed. My MOBO is an ASUS P8Z68-V LE, and has a USB 3.0 header. The connector on this bracket matched up perfectly with the header on my MOBO. (Probably standard)
Works fine and will hopefully last a long time....
This review is from: Rosewill RCW-100 - 6-Foot USB 2.0 A Male to A Female Extension Cable, Black
Pros: Not rocket science. It's a USB extension cable But like any other extension cord, when you need one, YOU NEED ONE.
Other Thoughts: I had a customer who had a problem with his wireless signal because the receiver was plugged into the back of his PC, close to the floor. He had no USB ports on the front pane. This cable enabled him to position his wirless receiver up higher, thus giving him a good signal.READ FULL REVIEW
