This review is from: YAMAHA RX-A1010BL 7.2-Channel AV Receiver
Pros: I reaserched for weeks before pulling the trigger. Looked at reviews on other sites and user expierence.
This reciever is nice! Love all the functions when hooked up to the interwebs! Using my iPhone as a remote and streaming my iTunes from it too! Pandora is a real nice touch.
I upgraded from a Harmon Kardon 135 and this is a big improvement, not only in sound quality but video quality as well!
Cons: Menu takes a little getting use to. The YPAO will more than likely have to be tweaked as I had to do to tune it like you want.
Other Thoughts: Overall with the Great Newegg deal I got, I am completley satisfied! I would deffinitly go with another Yamaha in the future!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Klipsch Reference RF-62 II Floorstanding Speaker (Black Ash) Single
Pros: Very well built. The sound is amazing! I hear things I didnt hear before in movies. Now I am watching movies over again to see what I missed!
Cons: None So Far
Other Thoughts: I have a low powered older Harmon Kardon 135 AVR. That is only putting out 65 watts to these things. These are extremely efficiant speakers. I just order the Yamaha RX-A1010 to really see what these speakers can do andx sound like!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Klipsch Reference RW-12d 12" Powered Subwoofer Each w/ New box
Pros: This sub makes a world of difference with a surround sound system. I play a lot of Battlefield 3 and this thing makes you feel like you are in a warn zone, lol! My other use is for movies and it really makes drama and suspense more suspenseful. Great sound once you have tuned right.
Lucky I did not have the issue with the bad shipping, so I am very pleased!!
Cons: Wife hates it but that may be Battlefield 3! :)
Other Thoughts: Some people complain that the bass is not very tight. They should note that tight bass comes from smaller speakers i.e. 8" and 10" or even a good set of 6" fronts. Got to know the speaker capabilities before you expect the wrong thing.READ FULL REVIEW
