Crucial M500 CT240M500SSD1 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Fast

Cons: Worked for 2 hours

Other Thoughts: At first this SSD was amazing, but it only lasted about 2 hours. none of my pc's will recognize. tried everything but i guess i just got a bad one :( tempted to get diff brand, but will give this one one more try. never used this brand b4, so we'll see what happens. If anything ill just go back to intel and corsair, never had problems with their ssd's.

NZXT RL-KRG10-W1 Sleeve Kraken G10 GPU Bracket

5 out of 5 eggs Kraken G10 03/21/2014

This review is from: NZXT RL-KRG10-W1 Sleeve Kraken G10 GPU Bracket

Pros: It Works

Cons: Would be nice if they sold VRM heatsinks that snap on the VRM like the new cards.

Other Thoughts: So far its good, Mining LTC 24/7 on a 290X-my temps are (as per GPU-Z)GPU 54C / VRM1 67C / VRM2 66C. this is with modified VRM heatsink, W/O heatsink-Temps on VRM1-82C / VRM2-76C. Also its quiet compared to reference fan. My 290X with the new heatsink is not so bad in noise at 85% fan with temps of GPU 70C / VRM1 88C / VRM2 78C. I Do not Overclock, since games look awesome either way so I cant say how the temps will hold up. Overall im happy with the results and waiting on two Corsair H55 to finish modding my last 2 - 290X. I have four 290X running on a Lian-Li PC A75. Have two cards on PCIe X16 for crossfire when needed, the other two on USB risers since this bracket takes about 2.5 slots so 3 slots are a must. if u were to bend the bracket im pretty sure it will fit in 2 slots. The case is perfect, clean and you would never guess whats inside since the noise is not so bad. BTW this is on a Gigabyte X79-UP4, Intel 3820 W/(Corsair H100), 16Gb RipjawsX, 5 case fans, with soon to be 4 290x w/4 Corsair H55. Using 2 900w psu. the wall meter reads 1400watts being pulled average.

Pros: Fast
decent power draw

Cons: Loud and Loud
oh, its hot too

Other Thoughts: Got 20% minimum jump performance from my Powercolor 280x OC. I know that 90c is normal for this card, but I just cant see myself letting this card get so hot. I game with Headphones so noise (62dB) is not a problem for me. Its at 78c with the fan at 64% on full load (1000Mhz and 1250mem). Power draw went down from 450w (full load on 280x) to 400w full load with this card, btw this is on a Corsair 550D with a 3820, 5 case fans, 1 vga fan, and the Kraken X40. If you dont mind the noise or price get this card, If you do, the 280X is an Excellent card. You cant go wrong with either one of this cards as both max out settings for any game available.
