Pros: The monitor I received was free of major defects. The 144Hz refresh rate really is a huge improvement over the modern day IPS panel 60Hz barrier. Games look amazing and I no longer get a headache when I play games at lower FPS. Colors and pixel density are great. Latency is minimal and it really seems to work well with G Sync.
Cons: Some IPS glow and light bleed, but that's almost impossible to avoid with this manufacturer. I have one are on the top right of the screen that I had thought was a dead pixel, but it seems as though it's more than likely a piece of dirt stuck in the screen or a tiny chip in the AG coating.
Other Thoughts: Not sure why everyone seems to bash the stand. It's not terrible. If you really hate it get a VESA mount.
Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but I'm glad I didn't receive a product with major issues like so many have already. Shame on Acer for releasing a product with such bad QC.
I can confirm I cannot run everything on ultra at 144FPS with a single 980GTX. HOWEVER, it looks fantastic on Ultra even at 60-85 FPS in BF4. Portal 2 looks fantastic at 144FPS on Very High (Ultra), Diablo III looks really good at 130FPS on "Ultra", Metro Last Light looks amazing on Ultra though obviously FPS will suffer (runs around ±60FPS on Very High if I'm remembering correctly). I have yet to test more GPU resource-hungry games.
Good luck finding another monitor with these specs. This thing is a beast. It may be worth the gamble to some, to me it was.
This review is from: Corsair Vengeance MM200 CH-9000014-WW XL Gaming Mouse Mat
Pros: Very big, smooth surface for gaming.
Cons: Thing is falling apart only after a few months of use. The cloth's edges are pealing up off of the rubber surface. I'm really surprised at this as Corsair has been my go-to company for most of my gaming peripherals and PSUs.
Other Thoughts: Wish I would have seen more bad reviews from people who've owned this pad longer than just a few weeks. If you get this mouse pad, you will have durability issues down the road. Stay away from Corsair's cloth mouse pads!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: Runs stock 4670K extremely well.
Cons: Not the best for OC Haswell as these chips get hot over 4.3GHz
Other Thoughts: My 4670K @ 4.2 GHz runs 65C under load (BF4) and idles at 28CREAD FULL REVIEW
