EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti DirectX 12 (feature level 11_0) 01G-P4-3650-KR 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: So far I've only run Skyrim (with the texture pack) and Civ V on it, but they run great. The performance is surprising in comparison to the power requirements and size of the card. With the above uses, I've never heard the cooling fan ramp up. (Running stock, not overclocked). It's quieter than the fans in my Antec 300 two (running on their 'quiet' setting).

Cons: Well, I guess if you wanted an SLI set up, this isn't your girl. Expect to lose a spot on your motherboard for the cooling fan / heatsink. That's to be expected though.

Other Thoughts: Replaced a GT 240 superclocked. The difference is night & day.

5 out of 5 eggs Update 03/29/2011

This review is from: YAMAHA - Portable Player Dock PDX-30 (BLACK)

Pros: To correct my previous review, the on-board controls for my 4th Gen iPod DO work when it's connected.

Cons: Yamaha didn't program it to correct your Newegg reviews for you when you make a mistake.

5 out of 5 eggs Does the job 03/25/2011

This review is from: YAMAHA - Portable Player Dock PDX-30 (BLACK)

Pros: If you're just looking for a decent music dock / charger for your ipod and don't need extra features, this is perfect. Sound quality is good enough for what it is, and the 15w x 2 doesn't seem like a horrible exaggeration. I wouldn't pay full MSRP for it, but if you can get it on sale, go for it. If you need extra functionality/connectivity, there's a newer version, and 100 other options out there.

Cons: iPod controls are disabled when connected (probably not unique to this model), so it's a paperweight without the remote. I'll be training my universal remote just in case.

Other Thoughts: TURN OFF YOUR IPOD's EQ! I've read reviews about the sound quality being off / too boomy /etc. Not true with the EQ turned off, or at a conservative setting.

I gave this 5 stars because of the price-to-sound ratio. I probably wouldn't go bragging about this thing to audiophile friends. Still, if you want something with impressive voicing and good bass response below 50Hz, you shouldn't be shopping for an iPod dock under $100.
