StarTech USB to PS2 Keyboard and Mouse Expansion Slot Adapter Model USBPS2PLATE

Pros: Didn't damage my motherboard.

Cons: The pinout for the internal usb header in the manual is backwards!

Other Thoughts: I was worried when the manual showed a picture of the card with the usb internal cable hooked up one way on the cover, but specified the opposite way in the diagram inside the manual. I hooked it up per the diagram, since I figured the photographer just connected it randomly. The only result I got was a burning smell from my keyboard. Checking the pinout for a USB-A port on the internet verified that the pinout was backwards. How hard is it to put a plus and minus on the pcb?

ASUS GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) DirectX 11 ENGT430 DC SL/DI/1GD3 1GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Silent, heatpipe cooler, doesn't block adjacent slots, Vdpau support. The heatpipe is above most adjacent cards, so hopefully it won't cook them.

Cons: Very tall.

Other Thoughts: Don't know how this is for gaming. It's probably overkill for my use. I am using it under Linux with the Nividia proprietary drivers . Vdpau video acceleration in mplayer means video playback used almost no CPU.
