XFX Core Edition Radeon R7 250 DirectX 11.2 R7-250A-CLF4 2GB 128-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Low Profile Ready Video Card
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Good card for the price. We've bought several of them as upgrades for our dual-monitor workstations around the office, upgrading from older generation 5570 and 6570-series cards. It's a shame they don't offer a similar model with DisplayPort so that it would work with Eyefinity / triple monitor setups.

Am pleased with the large fan and heatsink, have no problems fitting these into our Dell OptiPlex 780-class DT (desktop) form factor workstations.

Cons: Will buy more when they come back in stock. :) WIsh HDMI had a locking mechanism, we've had a few cables come lose when people bump their computers.

Other Thoughts: Not a gamer but these cards are excellent for our business needs.

1 out of 5 eggs Too slow for real-world use 12/23/2015

This review is from: Visiontek Radeon 7750 SFF 1GB DDR3 5M VHDCI (4x DVI-D, miniDP)

Pros: Allows you to connect up to five monitors to Dell OptiPlex desktop PC's. No extra power connector required.

Cons: Abysmal performance. 64-bit/12.8GB/s bandwidth as rated by GPU-Z. I ordered one of these cards for testing, but after seeing that it's performance is less than half of what I get out of my five-year-old HD 5570 (quad) cards I was considering replacing, I think I'll be keeping my 5570's a little longer.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if manufacturers made video cards just like this one, only with better bandwidth.

Seagate Desktop HDD ST500DM002 500GB 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5

Pros: I'm the IT Dept. manager for a mid-size business with 30 years of IT experience. I research my products thoroughly before purchase, and track their lifespan and usage carefully. I've purchased over 50 of these drives for users in or office over the past few years. Failure rate has been less than 5%, and performance has always been quite good.

Cons: Only 16MB of cache? Most drives come with 32 or 64, now. Wish Seagate would provide more firmware update utilities.

Other Thoughts: I will buy and use these drives in all our corporate workstations until price of SSD's comes down a little more. They meet all our needs for capacity, speed, and reliability. I don't understand all the negative reviews!?
