EVGA DG-86 Gaming Case, 100-E1-1014-K0, Full Tower, K-Boost, Software Fan Controller
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Lots of space
High quality
interesting design
good fans
sturdy

Cons: I hadn't seen a case where you have to slide in the power supply from inside the case to the back; no mention of that in the instructions.

The manual shows where there are these suppose clips to take of the top of the case. Blatantly wrong, and misleading. Removing the top is quite a chore, to reach these VERY difficult and plasticky (which means you can't just rip them off it will break) tabs. Why they did it like that when the front or the back was put together so well; beyond me. I found it easier to slide 120mm (140mm fans could not be slid in) onto the top plate from within...

heavy and large but you already knew that

Other Thoughts: I'm an EVGA fan, they make typically great products, while also having terrific customer care. Bought dozens and dozens of evga products over the years, and i'm little shocked and disappointed in these oversights. The manual is very bare; couple of pages and lacking... unusual for them.

ASUS MX239H Silver / Black 23
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Slim Design, decent picture

Cons: unreliable. About a year after purchase started experiencing a ton of light bleeding, images seemed to be burnt into the screen, colors washed out... month later it occasionally turns on, but quickly turns off.

Other Thoughts: I have another asus monitor from the ProArt series still going strong nearly 2 years.
