5 out of 5 eggs Lovely 02/11/2010

This review is from: ZEROtherm GX710 Ceramic VGA Cooling

Pros: Easy to install ... SILENT ... silent ... ssssilent

Cons: Pictures in the manual that come with it are too small ... make sure you download the PDF manual
My motherboard does not have a three pin connector, the GPU has a two pin and I have connected it to that one ... dont know if I have the right wires in the right place but its working

Other Thoughts: provide a picture of which way the power connector goes on a two pin vs a three pin

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5670 (Redwood) DirectX 11 100287VGAL 512MB 128-Bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Blazing delivery ... Thanks to newegg I was not charged the stocking fee and will be reimbursed for the return shipping ... you cant beat this kind of customer service ... only on

Cons: After installing the card ... my computer (HP D4100e/ Athlon 64x2 4200, 3G ram, GeForce 6600, CD, DVD, 160 HD) would not post ... updated the BIOS/ selected to start from PCI X in BIOS/ cut power to CD/DVD/ Fans, still no Post
AMD told me it might be a power issue which I cant understand (when I put the FX6600 the computer posts), or it could be the Mother board, or it could be the card ... I think its the PSU that is old and cant give enough juice ... I have heard others changing the motherboard and it solved their problem ... dont think it was the GPU

Other Thoughts: Cant beat NEWEGG.COM with its fast delivery and eggcelent customer service ... AMD customer service was great as well ... did not like that I had to return it and wished HP would put better quality systems together and not the bare min required ... I am now thinking twice about getting another HP ...
