Fantastic!
Pros: first of all, i love it when 4-7 day shipping comes next day... those guys at newegg work miracles. now for the product: -just what i was looking for to control fans and monitor without a big space commitment -auto control -temperature controls and sensing works nice -looks awesome... lets be honest -easy controls when you get the hang of it -great for keeping tabs on the temperature of several different components without software
Cons: -many wires inside (1 power in, 5 power out, 5 temp sensors) -tape provided really didn't do the job to keep the sensors in place -difficult to handle inside/set up... again because of the wire clutter -the beep is annoying but can be turned off
Overall Review: -exactly what i was looking for and more, i can easily live with the flaws listed above
watch out for that cable
Pros: -FANTASTIC SOUND
Cons: -the string stuff around the cable was somehow under tension, is buckles and the rubber cable would loop out... eventually is just unwound and the string broke off
Fantasttic!
Pros: -works as intended
Cons: -facebook thinks im offline on chat sometimes...idk if this is related... it only started happening after installed
great card, but wheres dx11.1?
Pros: -fantastic card -fantastic price (i guess this is because theres no sli) -i like the input options, display port screens are overrated -i havent seen it go above 52C yet -decent overclocking potential -looks beast... only wish I could see the cool side on a regular basis Not in the description: -768 cuda cores (which is really all you need for consumer 3d applications or whatnot that use cuda) -fans are quieter than my stock fans, in fact, half the time i can't tell if they are running because they are so quiet. -surprisingly lower voltage usage than I expected.
Cons: -no sli, but i don't really count that because I never spend the money to get two cards for sli anyway -why this is 4 stars instead of 5: -i have three monitors set up, two come out of this card and another out of the onboard gpu. the vga that comes out of this cord appears to be occasionally wavy and old-fashioned analogy like an old tv. I suspected that this was due to the frequency but i maxed it out and the distortions still occur (on a less frequent basis). I think there are probably several different reasons why this could be happening (vsync issues, pcie2.0-3.0 compatibility, shared memory with onboard gpu, etc...) but as for the exact cause im not sure yet. I have noticed however that this issue isn't always consistent, usually if i'm working on that monitor it fades away but when Im not it is more obvious.... -Now where is DirectX 11.1? speccy and cpuid and the nvidia control panel all say that this is a directX 11.0 card and one of the reasons I bought it was because of its 11.1 capability... i could just be missing a driver or something or maybe it just downgraded because it's in a pcie2.0 slot, either way, there should be some documentation on that somewhere at least.
Overall Review: -hope to get it to be 11.1 -hope to fix monitor issues -will overclock when the time is right -I use this for boinc which its not doing anything. does well -all in all: buy this card if you are a normal person and don't ever plan on using sli, best bang for your buck here, in fact i'd say it rivals usually cheaper amd cards. id be weary of the DirectX status and of the vga output.
SHES STABLE AGAIN
Pros: -made previously unstable microatx rig stable -fantastic look and feel that matches my case -great voltage.. amount
Cons: -should'shoulder come with more zip ties.... -I don't think anyone really knows what to do with all these extra wires
Overall Review: -danke
Best DDR2 you'll find
Pros: -these things dont break -nor do they overheat -nor does anything bad happen to them
Cons: -it's DDR2
Overall Review: fan-freakin-tastic for older rigs
