AMD Sempron 3850 Kabini Quad-Core 1.3 GHz Socket AM1 25W SD3850JAHMBOX Desktop Processor AMD Radeon HD 8280

Pros: The reason I gave it 5 eggs is because I knew what I was paying for. The processor was $30 and free shipping. I was aware the speed at which it can processes applications: 1.3 GHz. It was purchased for my grandmother who only uses applications such as YouTube, banking, and Microsoft Word.

Cons: I would highly recommend against purchasing this product if you plan on working with any video over 720p. The on-board GPU in conjunction with the operating frequency of the CPU just can't handle it. It's a quad-core, however it is a lower end quad-core. It can handle multiple processes at once, but like I said I wouldn't recommend video such as 1080p.

Other Thoughts: I completely understand this is a budget CPU and as such it won't process many applications as fast as an Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 (obviously). I can almost guarantee with at least a 1.6 GHz - 2.0 GHz processing frequency, this would handle it no problem. If that's what you're aiming for, spend an extra $5 on the Athlon 5150 (was $15 more at the time of my purchase. Grandmother was looking for the least expensive combo possible as she makes very little money).

Best bang for the buck in terms of basic processing, you ask? Simple answer; yes.

4 out of 5 eggs Great Product 03/20/2015

This review is from: EDIMAX EW-7811Un N150 USB 2.0 Wireless nano Adapter

Pros: Nano USB! Plug it into the back of my PC and never have to worry about it getting caught on cables, or anything of the sort. This USB is fantastic in that it's compact, versatile, and can pretty much be take anywhere in my pocket,

Cons: An egg knocked off for performance. The speeds at which it downloads and the latency are about what I expected for a $9 wireless adapter. Normal Wifi latency around 20-40ms, this is about 100ms. Wifi router is in the next room over, so it's close. Normal download speeds around 7-10MBps, with this I'm getting around 3-4MBps. Still fast, but I'm just letting people know!

Other Thoughts: It was $9, so I mean I shouldn't be complaining, however I just want people to know what they're getting into. Great little Nano Wireless Adapter.

Pros: The laptop came as described with all the bells and whistles stated in the ad. My sister couldn't even tell it was used. Arrived in perfect condition.

Cons: This is more of a user error so I won't remove an egg as it doesn't affect the performance of the computer or has any negative repercussions for the seller, but I can't seem to find the correct drivers for pressure sensitivity anywhere on the web. I've updated everything through the Lenovo updater, but alas I have found no solution. I spent a whole day looking as my sister loves to draw, especially with the sensitivity. For now she'll just have to use the drawing pad through the USB port.
