Awsome Cooling
Pros: This thing installed very easily after watching the instructional video online before purchasing. Rig runs at 17C in an air conditioned environment, 30C in 90 F environment. Silent, no maintenance, essentially set it and forget it. Cost as much as a high end air cooler.
Cons: Installation can be tricky if you try to put it together without looking at the manual, so RTM!!!! Also you case NEEDS a 120mm case fan mount in either the back or top.
Overall Review: If you have the case and want to get to overclocking your cpu this is a no brainer. If you want something to protect your investment when gaming and not have to think twice about overheating and slowdown, this is your ticket.
Great board with a budget.
Pros: Unlocks cores, overclocks well, crossfire ready, ddr2 ram (so you don't have to shell out for ddr3), AM3 ready, plenty of USB ports and headers.
Cons: no cmos reset button for an overclocking board. Won't unlock a AM2+ Kuma cpu. BIOS needs to be updated to unlock anything. Doesn't have SPDIF on board. Won't clean it self.???
Overall Review: Great board, the AM3 version is just as good and almost twice as fast with ddr3. Open design and I love the 90 degree sata ports. was a good deal for me, all my parts fit from my last computer that I upgraded this to.
Great Fan
Pros: Clean and shiny, moves air without all the noise. Cool blue LED and works wonders on heat.
Cons: Can be a bit intimidating when you first open the box.
Overall Review: It comes with brackets for both amd2+ and 775 cpus. just follow the directions and in 15 min. You'll have it up and running in no time, both require a back plate so be prepared to move that mobo around.
Finally I have a TB
Pros: Lots of space at a cheap price.
Cons: as with all other high capasity drives you get 40 to 100 gb less space than advertized. My 640 had only a 596 usable capasity. Luck of the draw I guess.
Overall Review: If its a 596gb capacity why not just call it a 600gb drive it gets on my nerves sometimes. But it'll hold alot either way. Also take note that the formating takes a good hour. and if you have xp 64 or vista you can format it from windows, no boot disk required. go to start and type Diskmgmt.msc. google it for more info on how to use it.
Great for non oc
Pros: Cheap large amounts of ram, nice heatsinks that help with disipation.
Cons: Not for the OC crowd, if you want something to push to 1200mhz spend the extra 30 and get some gamer ram.
Overall Review: If you're looking for relativly cheap and dependable ram to use as is, this is a great choice, If you're looking to crank up the voltage and clocks look elsewhere.
