BenQ GW Series GW2750HM Glossy Black 27
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Excellent value.
- Best display size + resolution for the buck.
Looks great. Appears to be adequately well made.
Tilt adjustment.
HDMI, DVI, Analog RGB and Stereo headphone out connectors.

Cons: Comes with one video cable: Analog RGB. So tens of thousands of people will have to go back to the store and buy a non-worthless cable, and throw this stupid, ancient, anachronistic piece of wire in a landfill.
No height adjustment.

Other Thoughts: I really am happy with this monitor. The stupid Analog cable annoys me because the last six LCD monitors I have purchased all came with digital (DVI) cables, and were therefore useful without requiring a second trip to the store.

Acer V223WEJbd Black 22

Pros: Just to correct my previous review, this monitor DOES have tilt adjustment. I noticed that some of the pictures on Newegg showed it tilted. Mine was stuck at first, but after applying some pressure it started to move. So I take back my earlier "con". I'd give it half an egg more if I could.

Cons: Monitor tilt adjustment was rather hard to get started.

Acer V223WEJbd Black 22

  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Meets all of the basic requirements for a computer monitor, at a very reasonable price. Clear, image, nice contrast. The framing around the LCD is narrower than my older AL2216W, approx half an inch.

Cons: Barebones. No tilt adjustment, so you'd better like 90 degrees. But you can get this monitor with tilt and height adjustment if you pay more.

Other Thoughts: Shorter than my older Acer fixed height monitor, so I had to stick a book underneath to bring it level (side-by-side). Much less expensive though. I'll happily live with it.
