Simply Elegant.

SilverStone Sugo Series SG02B-F-USB3.0 ABS / SECC Steel MicroATX Desktop Computer Case with 2 x USB3.0 ports (Black)
SilverStone Sugo Series SG02B-F-USB3.0 ABS / SECC Steel MicroATX Desktop Computer Case with 2 x USB3.0 ports (Black)

Pros: I cannot emphasize enough how pleasant this case was to work on. It is beautiful and well designed, feels high quality all around. -Good open airflow. -Relatively small and compact with little wasted space, yet doesn't feel cramped. Efficient design. -Fit a full sized GTX 760 when I tried it. If the card is too big or the motherboard has the pcie slot stupidly positioned you can remove the HDD fan and move the drive cage over to make more space according to the manual, though I didn't have to do this. -PSU drops in from above with no effort, sits perfectly positioned without any screws so installion is a breeze; on many cases I find that I have to finagle the PSU into place and hold it while putting in the first screw, but not in this case! -Fan it comes with is pretty quiet. -Motherboard installation was super easy with a standard microatx mobo, I'm not sure why other reviewers had a problem with it. Plenty of room for it on all sides. -HDD bays come with mounts for SSDs. -The Optical drive free floats on screws and isn't forced into a specific position so it can be aligned perfectly with the front of the case. Can also be installed by pushing it in through the front or back, so you don't have to pull out your PSU to replace it. -Comes with some very useful cable management accessories, I found cable management came naturally in this case. Overall this case was straightforward and easy to work with.

Cons: -Missing standoff hole for the edge of my motherboard for some reason, but this really wasn't a big deal because it was a largely unnecessary standoff.

Overall Review: Dual graphics card configurations could be problematic if you wanted to use both of the rear fan spots. I will be looking for excuses to build more computers with this case, I plan on rebuilding my gaming rig in one.

BSOD Hell

OCZ Vertex 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX3-25SAT3-120G
OCZ Vertex 3 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX3-25SAT3-120G

Pros: -Amazingly fast, but that is to be expected with just about any SSD. -Honestly nothing out of the ordinary -Doesn't BSOD as often as other reviews have experienced?

Cons: -It does not work correctly out of the box. It causes BSODs on my system daily.

Overall Review: I have not updated it's firmware yet but honestly I shouldn't have to. I paid enough money for this thing that I expect it to work CORRECTLY out of the box. I should not have to FIGHT with it to get it working the way it is supposed to. Short of receiving a full refund for this defective product I will never purchase anything from OCZ again and I really recommend that you do the same. I will probably have to buy another $300 SSD for my system, which I cannot afford, because I really doubt this thing will ever work perfectly. If I can get it working correctly after some updating and tweaking I will update my review to 3 eggs, but I will NEVER call this a good product. It simply does not work the way it is supposed to.

Great basic motherboard.

GIGABYTE GA-B85M-D3H LGA 1150 Intel B85 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This motherboard has everything you need for a basic build. -Straightforward layout. -Good expansion options. -No problems installing it. -Sufficient headers. -Looks really nice actually. -Boots fast, doesn't take a long time posting.

Cons: The io shield is basic and has a lot of gap between it and the io ports.

Overall Review: If I was going to build a gaming rig I'd be perfectly happy using this. The bells and whistles of more expensive boards are unnecessary.

Very Quiet

SilenX EFX-08-15 80mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan
SilenX EFX-08-15 80mm Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: Pushes a decent amount of air and I can only hear it with my ear right next to it. Good fan. Also looks sturdy and cool. Comes with excellent anti vibration mounts in place of screws.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I plan on buying more of these in the future.

Great mouse

Pros: High quality. Lots of customizable options. The settings program is easy to use. Looks awesome. Feels good in my hand. The cable is nice. Scroll wheel has a nice texture to it.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Good, but buggy.

ARRIS SBG6580 SURFboard Wireless Cable Modem Gateway
ARRIS SBG6580 SURFboard Wireless Cable Modem Gateway

Pros: Lightening fast. Picks up my Comcast connection perfectly and gives me the exact levels advertised. Pretty easy to install. -Fast -Easy Setup

Cons: I had to disable the firewall to get it to work properly with windows 7. It was having extremely slow load times when browsing, even on the routers pages, though speedtests showed normal ping and down/up speeds. I have found a few places mentioning this bug online, though some say it is a problem with the NAPT mode. Actually though it's because when you toggle NAPT off and back on the firewall is disabled in the process. The menues are a little more confusing than my other routers and some functions seem to lack level settings. For instance, my call to Motorola involved the support person implying that their firewalls have levels which can be set, but this one lacks such a feature, having only on/off. Well, more accurately, a check box. -Buggy firewall -Lacks some settings -Confusing menus

Overall Review: I haven't checked the wifi yet, though I suspect it works fine. Also, I didn't notice any problems with the IP Flood Detection.
