This review is from: NETGEAR 5 Port Gigabit High Performance Desktop Switch (GS605NAR)
Pros: Works fine out of the box, and it was on sale for $24.99....
Cons: Only 5 ports.
No documentation, but then what documentation is really required? Go online and download the spec sheet if you are interested.
Other Thoughts: About the cheapest Gigabit switch around, luckily NewEgg also offered free shipping.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS TF101 Docking Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Mobile Docking
Pros: Very well made item, integrates perfectly with my ASUS TFT 101-A tablet. Added battery life, full keyboard with Android function keys, two new USB ports, added SD card slot....just check the product description.
Cons: I don't think it will work with other ASUS Transformer tablets. It's made of sturdy metal construction, so some people might find it a bit heavy compared to the current generation of very light ultrabooks. No ethernet port on the docking station, but you can buy a usb-to-ethernet adapter online for under $10.
Other Thoughts: I'm glad I bought this for $65.99 (with free shipping) because it seems to have been discontinued. Hooking it up to the tablet really changes the 1st Generation ASUS EEE Transformer into a netbook....complete with trackpad and keyboard. The touchscreen feature still works, it isn't disabled by the docking station. Beautifully built, probably the highest build quality I've seen in awhile. It was too expensive for my blood when I got the tablet initially, but buying it at this price was a no-brainer. Re-furbished but in brand-new condition....READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Purchased this while it was on sale for $139.99....otherwise I wouldn't have grabbed it.
Completely transformed a 5 year old Dell laptop....core 2 duo now performs more like a near-new Lenovo. Best single upgrade you can make to breathe new life into and old machine....
Intel quality, comes with extra mounting kit and cables, download the Intel SSD toolbox and run the utilities to optimize your machine. 240 Gb is an excellent size, the 120 GB drives are too small and will fill up quickly.
Cons: Of course it will be on sale cheaper a year from now....
