GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 GV-N980D5-4GD-B 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready G-SYNC Support Video Card

Pros: Upgraded from a GTX 780 and I couldn't be more happy. This card is a beast .I game on a 4k TV (2160p) so the upgrade was needed for the HDMI 2.0 input and 4Gb of Vram. I'm very happy with this card and it overclocks like a boss. I've never had a card OC this well and I've had a GTX 480,580,680,and a 780. If you have any card less then a 780ti and you game at resolutions higher then 1080 old P LOL this is a must have IMO

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: The GTX 980 outperforms a Titan,Titan Black,290x and a 780Ti and that's at stock speeds when you overclock this baby GAME OVER for any other single card solution

Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 84W BX80646I74770K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics

  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Great CPU and it works flawlessly

Cons: I upgraded from a i7 2600k and when it comes to GAMING there's really no performance increase over the i7 2600k I'm very disappointed

Other Thoughts: if you have a 2600k or 3770k don't upgrade if you looking for an increase in gaming performance

MSI GeForce GTX 780 DirectX 11.1 N780-3GD5 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Runs cool
glowing L.E.D
outperforms a titan when OC'ed for $350 cheaper

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: This card OC's like a beast I put +150Mhz on the Gpu clock and +500Mhz on the Mem clock and I'm getting 1137Mhz on the boost clock up from 902Mhz and 3506Mhz on the Mem clock and I could push a little more. This was a great upgrade from my GTX 680
