This review is from: ENCORE ENMAB-8CM 7.1 Channel USB Audio Box - Retail
Pros: Works great with homemade Win 7 32bit system using old 775 socket motherboard w/2.8 dual core. Did not work so well with old Acer netbook w/Vista 32 bit -- a lot of static and popping. Form and fit is very nice. Easy to load and set up. Sounds better than old board.
Cons: none so far, though I have not tried 5.1 or 7.1 functions. I bought it for connection to a receiver (using 2.1 for that) and headphone amp.
Other Thoughts: Sound is very acceptable at both receiver and headphones -- noticeably better than off integrated audio on old motherboard, and part of that may be the equalizer in the softwareREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Just a very nice sound; clear, articulate, non-fatiguing. Cables are sturdy and don't knot up like fishing line.
Cons: None, really. Maybe a little loss of sleep because I stay up listening to music instead of sleeping, but that's operator error.
Other Thoughts: Definitely able to compete with two other ear bud sets I had, one was $20 more and the other $40 more than THoM's price of $40. Even the carton was cleverly designed. Seeing a clever box gives hope they put some thought in their product. Sounds like they did. Some companies use it all up on the box.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Mee audio A151-BK 3.5mm Connector In-Ear Headphone with Balanced Armature Technology
Pros: I can use the zippered case for something else.
Cons: Both R and L earbuds work. If only one worked, I would hear only half of the tinny, scratchy, squaky noise these buds make. Terrible sound! If the first two good reviews weren't from their CEO, I'm surprised any company wouldn't test enough of a batch to stop these from getting to market. I threw them away. Waste of $$
Other Thoughts: I wrote a similar review months ago but it never appeared. Maybe I typed something against the rules -- like wondering how anyone could sell these.READ FULL REVIEW
