Good RAM
Pros: The quality of the RAM is great for the price. Similar ram from others is normally $30-$50 more in price. I just recently upgraded my whole computer system and got these cause my last computer had the same G.Skill Ram sticks in it for over year. Before that i had kingston and crucial which i seem to be replacing every couple months cause of the over clocking.
Cons: N/A
Overall Review: NewEgg needs to not send these in a envelope. Moist of the reviews i've been seeing is damage during shipping. They do make small enough boxes that you can ship these in.
Good, but Not Great
Pros: The memory originally registered with the expected default of 2133mhz as most have already pointed out and runs perfect at this speed. The price for the kit size of 32GB is great.
Cons: Have a MSI x99A Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard. This kit is listed in the compatibility, but XMP profiles cause the system to become unstable. Even attempt to set the RAM to 3200 manually. Still cause the system to be unstable.
Overall Review: Could be a poor silicon lottery and that is why the XMP profiles are unstable. I am probably going to go with a higher quality brand ultimately once i upgrade to 64GB+
Good but not great
Pros: The price for this case is right where I needed it. I was setting up a MySQL cluster group so I needed a case with lots of HD bays, but decently priced. The case it's self seem to well made for the most part.
Cons: 1 case did have a dead power LED, but that was fine, I used one of the Nic LED's on the front as a replacement. Who ever designed the tool-less bays needs their head examined. It's what cause me to rate this 3 eggs. The tool-less drive holders are a pain to place on the drives. As well in my case I had to take a hacksaw to them and remove a section of the handles in order to get my power cables to properly connect to all 8 of the hard drives. Without doing that it was so tight of a fit that I just could not get them to connect. In fact I broke part of the power connector form the power supply trying to get it all to connect before I grabbed the hacksaw.
Overall Review: Could use a better cable management system. The rail that runs a cross it is fine, but I can see it causing air flow issues.
Died Fast
Pros: The drive is really fast when compared to my old 7200RPM hard drive i had.
Cons: With in 1 a month window the drive started to corrupt files. There was never anything disk heavy running on it. I was sure go in and make sure defrag, index, and a lot of services were turned off to get the max life out of the drive. Once it started corrupting files it wouldn't stop even after a few reformats of the computer. I have had to go back to my old harddrive. Turned out to be a waste of money.
What a joke of a company
Ordered something weeks ago, still not here. Despite a tracking number being generated they have not sent it out yet. I've tired emailing and calling on a number of occasions. No one ever responded. I ordered a hard drive. Something they said they had in stock. I didn't select over night delivery, but going on 2 weeks and the item has not shipped yet. With zero customer service. They just want to rip people off.
