APEVIA X-Infinity ATXB6KLW-AL Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ATX 350W power supply for AMD/Intel Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Nice and sturdy. Lots of room and no sharp edges...yet.

Cons: No SATA power connections. 4 SATA drives but no power...seems a bit odd no?

Other Thoughts: I'd give it 5 eggs but if I didn't have some spare SATA converters I'd be outta luck.

AMD Athlon 64 LE-1600 Single-Core 2.2 GHz Socket AM2 45W ADH1600DHBOX Processor

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Great price for one. It's a great 'lite' cpu for office systems that only do data entry type stuff.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I've used these for almost a year now in five doctor's offices and haven't had a hiccup yet. Pair it with an MSI K9N6SGM Mobo and you're set to pop.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W ADO5000DSWOF Black Edition Processor
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Nice and fast, easy install. The usual stuff, it's just a CPU after all.

Cons: No indication whatsoever that it didn't come with a fan/heatsink. Retail usually means: CPU w/Heat Sink & Fan. I guess not on the Black Edition or just this particular one. Usually not a big deal but it took 2 days and an extra $18 for a fan/sink.

Other Thoughts: None really, I built a new system with this as the core and it runs great so far (2 days). XP Pro installed in about 20 min. It reboots in less than 1 min. and with the QPaq case and an ASUS board it flies and is quiet as heck.
