Great board

ASUS TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASUS TUF SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: This is a superb board in every way! it's hefty rugged and well designed further more it offers very advanced and sexy looking cool solutions on the side of the ram and below cpu! Not to mention this motherboard comes with a Certificate of reliablity they details all the rugged tests the put it through such as Capacitors tests ( 7 tests) Choke tests (2 tests) MOSFETs (3 tests) you'd be hard pressed to find a flaw with this board and this is coming from someone who is extremely critical of computer components and their quality comes with very nice long SATA cables and a few other goodies such as a Crossfire bridge tape and a mobo cable stand off for plugging in those small power ,reset cables, and HDD led cables from your case to your motherboard

Cons: i'll be buying a new one because the pci e slot was ripped off the board when i pulled out my wifi card to replace with a creative ZXR sound card but im the only one to blame and i dont have the time to send it out for repairs! so technically not a con just human error

Overall Review: Superb board ! Asus has been making quality products for ages and they're still going strong! Keep up the amazing work Asus

Most Critical Review

Good but not worth the price tag

Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition - Core i7 Extreme Edition Sandy Bridge-E 6-Core 3.3GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80619i73960X
Intel Core i7-3960X Extreme Edition - Core i7 Extreme Edition Sandy Bridge-E 6-Core 3.3GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80619i73960X

Pros: intel processors run cooler and consume less energy an utilize the cores better. this is quite fast and excellent

Cons: Now here's the catch i run 2 rigs one is a AMD fx 8350 and my second rig has this processor in it...... i only pay 200 for my amd 8 core and it run at 4.2 ghz on turbo..... seriously intel where in the hell do you get off charge this processor for this insane amount of money.... it's almost like intel is trying to insult me

Overall Review: Would have given this a 5 egg rating except for the price.... Completely unforgivable i won't be buying a intel product ever again..... my AMD fx-8350 hauls past this thing

Good for the money

Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick
Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick

Pros: For what you pay it's a great buy and it seems preetty sturdy.

Cons: Bought it for War Thunder and crashed about 1,200 planes in test flight before actually learning how to use a joy stick and to make matters worse the throttle was on the joystick instead of seperate unit so it was even hard to play to my full potenial once i got the hang of it

Overall Review: I bought this because i figured i could play War Thunder and Hawkens but Hawkens won't recognize it

The best

Rosewill 1600W Modular Gaming Power Supply, Continuous @ 50 Degree C, 80 PLUS GOLD Certified, SLI & CrossFire Ready - HERCULES-1600S
Rosewill 1600W Modular Gaming Power Supply, Continuous @ 50 Degree C, 80 PLUS GOLD Certified, SLI & CrossFire Ready - HERCULES-1600S

Pros: This thing is a absolute monster of monsters in PSU choice range it has enough power to handle two EVGA TITAN video cards which is exacltly what i bought it for Not only does this bad boy cool and power my rig extremley well but it also does a very quiet job of cooling- it's a bit pricey but hey it 1600watts from well known company that excellent reliability and great tech support.

Cons: I've found power supplies that are 1100 watt's that are only around 100 bucks so this is quite pricey for only have 500 extra watts since you get can 450 for around like 32 dollars

Best on market but....

Creative Sound Blaster ZxR PCIe 124dB SNR Sound Card with 600ohm Headphone Amp and Desktop Audio Control Module
Creative Sound Blaster ZxR PCIe 124dB SNR Sound Card with 600ohm Headphone Amp and Desktop Audio Control Module

Pros: This is the best in the market you can buy

Cons: I installed it and my computer recognized it at first and installed the software however when i try to open and run the software it said it couldn't fine a supported audio device.... so i contacted Creative...... never before have i waited so long for a reply from any company but i was patient..... they suggested i take out the sound card and uninstall all software and the install the sound card again . i did that but after uninstalling the sound card and putting it back in my motherboard again my computer wouldn't even acknlowedge it's existence . i emailed creative again and told them what happen. They suggest i update my computer bios and then try again with the updated software from their site. let me tell you that their software on the site was the exact same on my cd.... and my bios for my motherboard was fully updated since it's update's itself. i never got the sound card to work but i've had for about 6 months if you can get this to work with windows 7 ..... then you have my repsect but chances are you'll fight tooth and nail all the way with little or no succes.....i won't be buying another creative product again

Never again

Intel Xeon E5-2690 Sandy Bridge-EP 2.9GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) 20MB L3 Cache LGA 2011 135W 94Y7545 Server Processor
Intel Xeon E5-2690 Sandy Bridge-EP 2.9GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) 20MB L3 Cache LGA 2011 135W 94Y7545 Server Processor

Pros: Honeslty i don't have much to say in the way of pros except for that intel cpu's produce less heat

Cons: Heres the catch........ the benchmark speccs were inferior to that of AMD's Vishera black edition.... heck it's more than a thousand dollars more expensive....I will never purchase again from intel from now on im going AMD all the way

Overall Review: I was really angry and upset about the price and the performance i should think that any 8 core cpu should be at least 4.0 ghz without going turbo or overclocking
