Pros: This has been a truly great video card for the money. A little long in the tooth now, but it keeps low temps, isn't too loud, and works like a champ.

Cons: The Grid game this card came with had copy protection on it which hosed my machines until I disabled it with shell extension viewer.

OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK

Pros: Memory overclocks up to 1520 stable at 12gb RAM, 8-8-8-24-59 timings (1 command). Works well with the Asrock x58 Extreme board, making an excellent low-cost OC solution for an I7-920 system.

Cons: There is alot of back and forth of what this RAM will do in a 12gb set (two of these kits). Some folks have said that the speed has to drop to 9-9-9-28-98, but this has not been the case with the two setups I've built with this memory.

Other Thoughts: Yes, the gold bling-bling is nice, and the memory easily fits under the Scythe Mungen II that squats over it.

VisionTek Radeon HD 4870 X2 DirectX 10.1 900250 2GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Played Crysis with all settings maxed at ~30FPS. Also ran Batman visibly well.

Cons: Card would not allow my system to sleep (Windows 7). I swapped it out with my old 4870, and this problem went away. Also, I noticed that the package had already been opened when I got it. I got this off the shell-shocker deal 2 weeks ago, and it says retail, but this could be a possible re-furb... have no idea.

Also noticed some adhesive oozing out of the board on the side of the power plugs.

Other Thoughts: RMA for this card.
