3 out of 5 eggs Description Wrong : 2.6 gig processor 07/14/2016

This review is from: HP Desktop PC DC5700 (NE2-0032) Pentium Dual Core 3.4 GHz 4GB 250 GB HDD Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

Pros: Windows 7 OS, Can upgrade to Windows 10 Free by end of July 2016. 64 meg + 188 meg shared memory = 256 meg video.

Cons: NO way to upgrade Video, The PCI E slot is a hair brain Intel "ADD2"only, which means to get a DVI connector you have to find an obsolete "Add2" card.

Other Thoughts: This is a stripped down "Business" computer" and does not lent to any upgrading. The Bios has almost zero commands. HP has built this Motherboard for NO tweeking or tune up.

Pros: Low price, extra brackets and passive heat sink cooling. Audio is also on this HDMI, So no additional cable is required.

Cons: Had to download .net frame work from Microsoft.

Other Thoughts: I use it for a 65 inch home theater, via the HDMI input. I don't game so no thoughts how it performs under a heavy load. Generic white box, But it was well packed.

TP-LINK TL-WA801ND Wireless N300 Access Point, 300Mbps, Multifunction, Multiple SSID

  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Very easy set up, Hook up AP via Ethernet cable to a computer, Open the web browser, follow prompts, type in WiFi password, shut down computer and Access Point. Carry it out to the garage, hang it on the wall, plug in power supply and enjoy solid signal out to Shed in the back yard.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just be Sure you have a Very Good WiFi signal to the Access Point. If the signal is poor to the Access point it will be worse down stream from there.
