Good enterprise disks
Pros: Low price (about 45$) for this kind of HD developed for enterprise needs.
Cons: 24K to 31k hours "power on" range for 6 disks bought.
Overall Review: average 40 C degree in my NAS.
1 disk over 4 received - DOA
Pros: Cheap for this kind of disk (Near End line - Enterprise) supporting high IO and any form of RAID.
Cons: Although those disk are refurbished, I was expecting better quality (Shipment?) when I bought them. Not even had the time to test or run the 4 disk together in a RAID 5 setup because 1 over 4 disks received was clicking non-stop, so Dead on Arrival (DOA). Unless your purchase is not critical (in time) do not buy those disk or a least not from Newegg. Consider to buy BRAND NEW DISK(s).
Overall Review: I am disappointed about shipping quality (styrofoam and bubble wrap) and Quality assurance at NewEgg.ca. Those parts were coming from USA, not Canada and have travel a long long way to arrive at my home (almost from West coast to East...4000 km). So unsure if this defective HD was from shipping, stocking or manufacturing.
Samsung is reference for SSD!
Overall Review: One of the few companies that are part of leading SSD market !
Good drive
Overall Review: Still running since I bought it. I use it in a Ubiquiti cloud G2 key. Looks better than the original disk that it replaced.
Very good overall wifi router for the price if you get it in special
Pros: Overall, it is a all-in one features (AI wifi, 1 x 2.5G port, dual wan, basic virus/IDS/IPS protection, VPN, wifi guest, etc). You can use open source project OS called Asuswrt-Merlin to update your firmware. You have some extra there....ex : 5 max simultaneous VPN tunnels.
Cons: Cannot be fixed on a wall (it is a desktop layout) Missing a 2.5G port, but for most people, I guess it is OK.
Overall Review: Price/feature ratio when you buy it in special is pretty good. Recommended, for sure.
Better than RT-AX86U PRO
Pros: Better wifi capabilities 1 x 2.5G WAN + 1 2.5G LAN Minimal Layer2 VLAN functionnality The possibility to use Asuswrt Merlin like RT-AX86U Pro...must if you want 5 OpenVPN tunnels at the same time VS 2 if you use stock Asus firmware. Asus OS is ahead (1 major release higher) from RT-AX86U Pro
Cons: Exact same CPU than its predecessor RT-AX86U PRO. Bigger case than RT-AX86U PRO Less elegant than RT-AX86U PRO
Overall Review: Recommended if a slight better wifi and 2.5G LAN and WAN is/are a requirement(s), if we compare to RT-AX86U Pro.
