Been Working for over a year 24/7
Pros: This thing has been running 24/7 for over a year in a backup box with 5 hard drives. No problems so far.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I wasn't offended by not having a Power Chord. Just one less thing for me to put in a drawer somewhere. I had plenty of power chords.
Good Camera overall
Pros: This camera has a good picture for what i'm using it for. I have it mounted in a server room. It's easy to configure if you've ever messed with any kind of device like this. Motion detection works fairly well.
Cons: Schedule function sucks. I'm not sure why there is a schedule option. It's pretty much useless for me the way it is. I needed it to only record upon motion detection during off hours Weekends and before 9 am and after 6 pm. It won't do that. It only lets you set a single start and stop time for each day. It also won't allow you to schedule the email snapshot function. So even if the schedule function was useful I couldn't tell it not to send me emails of myself walking into the server room during the day.
Overall Review: It's an IP camera and it works and it has a pretty good picture. It doesn't do everything I need it to do, that I thought it would do.
Works OK
Pros: This case can support up to five drives which is nice. It holds computer parts. Good responsive support.
Cons: The layout of the case is not my favorite. The screws are soft and very small. Thanks to Mike at Norco for sending me new screws free. They don't have replacement screws for the handles so be careful. Front panel blocks air flow. I also had a hard time getting it into my rack. I had to mod the rails so after buying two sets to get it to slide all the way in. According to norco it is the standard size. I have three Dell servers, asus server, Linksys switch, promise DAS and two APC batter backups that didn't have any issues, but who's counting. I think the handles are causing the problem with the width.
Overall Review: I ran this for a while with the fans blowing air out the front instead of blowing air in. That's the only way I could keep it cool. After the fans failed for the second time, I took the whole front face off and left it off because it blocks so much air no matter how you point the fans. It may have been causing premature fan failure. I think I'll find a better solution in the future. Again I would like to mention that Norco was quick to respond and send me new screws. This was very helpful.
Work Good
Pros: Push plenty of air.
Cons: Power cables are little short for my application.
Working Since 2011 24/7
Pros: All I can say is that It's been running since 7/20 2011 24/7 with no issues. I installed two 4GB sticks of ram, two 1.5 Hitachi Deskstar drives, Xeon E31220 and Windows 7. . It runs an intranet page, Vipre Business server, GFI Events Manager. Only reboot it when Windows requires it for updates.
Cons: None
All Three Worked
Pros: Modular and it works, good price. Comes with a bag and zip ties.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I've installed three of these so far. I haven't had any problems. I plan on keeping one in stock at all times so that my users don't have to wait for me to order a new PSU if their's fails.
